Each session is important and special. At the same time I want my clients to be happy and comfortable. Think of it as a play day where everyone can just relax, have fun and just be yourselves. I make sure to ask parents ahead of time what their expectations are so I can plan the session accordingly. I highly encourage and welcome suggestions that we can incorporate into your shoot for a more customized feel. Location is entirely up to you, be it in the comfort of your own home, your backyard or the neighborhood park. I shoot in natural lighting therefore I prefer to schedule my sessions mid-morning or late afternoon. Please see clothing and location suggestions on my weblog.

I do take time to allow both children and adults to get used to a stranger with a camera until everyone is relaxed that you will forget I'm there. I strive to make the process simple and casual but my ultimate goal is to capture moments that you and your family will treasure forever.
